The Paintbox

Describe the scene in front of you — the tool plans how it sings warm against cool, picks tubes from your pans, and tells you the order to lay them. So you stop making mud.

Transparent, far & light first; opaque, granulating, dark & near last — this keeps colours clean.

How the Paintbox works

1

Pick your tubes.

Choose from the tray — the same paints the field notes were made with.

2

Mix, and watch.

Nudge the parts and the blend changes, the way it would on wet paper.

3

Keep what you find.

Save a mix card to your paintbox. It remembers the painting and the place it came from.

Mixing is free and needs no account. When a colour is worth keeping, saving it makes you a traveller — one address, no password.
